We're working in pods(groups of 4 max.) and each pod is assigned a biome(Chapt.1, Sect.4, pages 62-73). By next week we will have completed Chapt.1 and will be tested on Fri., June 5th.
Tomorrow(Thurs.) students will be working in class on their scientist book reports in preparation for passing their rough drafts in on Fri., 5/29. They should bring their books to class and notes.
They have completed vocab(Sect 1, 2, 3, & 4) and Sect. reviews-1, 2, & 3.

We reviewed food webs and energy pyramids from section 1, Chapter 2. Students then completed page 50, 1-5.
Section 2 and 3, Chapt 2(pages 51-59) will be completed with vocab and reading assigned.
A quick quiz on food webs will be given Fri.
All students should bring their biographies and rubrics to class Fri. in order to get started on their rough drafts which are due next week(5/29).

MCAS Testing has been completed. Thank you for your support.
As of Thursday all tests from Chapt 1 have been passed back.
Section 1 of Chapter 2 was assigned to be read along with defining the vocab from context for Fri.

Quizzes from Sect. 1-2 were passed back Mon.
All section reviews were completed as were the key terms for Chapt 1.
Students completed a worksheet dealing with Sect1-2.
We have completed a very short (only 3 sections) Chapt 1
Test on Chapt 1 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12.
